Exosome Skin Therapy
Exosome Therapy
Exosome therapy is an advanced skin treatment that uses stem-cell-derived extracellular vesicles known as exosomes. These microscopic structures are naturally present in the body and are involved in cellular communication.
When professionally administered, exosomes may assist in supporting overall skin health by delivering growth factors, peptides, and signalling molecules to the skin’s surface. This process encourages optimal cellular function and helps maintain a healthy-looking complexion.
At The London Skin Clinic, exosome therapy may be incorporated into a personalised treatment plan under the direction of qualified medical staff. A consultation is required to assess suitability and to ensure the procedure aligns with individual skin needs and medical considerations.

At the London Skin clinic, we offer the latest and most effective skin needling treatments available. These treatments are ideal for people with any concerns of aging skin, these concerns including visible signs of:
- Dull skin colour (due to less blood flow)
- Drooping facial shape (due to a decrease in collagen)
- Skin feels dehydrated, and slightly rough
- Wrinkles and folds and fine lines
- Scars, post surgery scars, acne scars
- Stretch marks (pregnancy or weight gain)
- Eye bags, wrinkles and dark circles
- Hair loss – to improve thinning hair
If you want to look years younger but are looking for a less invasive treatment that cosmetic surgery – then dermal needling is for you. The treatment is a powerful skin hydrator that plumps up the area of treatment, encouraging your skin to boost into repair mode to give you back that overall lift, smoother texture and brings back vibrancy by naturally delaying signs of ageing.
The most common areas treated are the face, décolletage, thighs, buttocks, abdomen and waistline. The upper arms, under the chin and lower cheeks can also be treated. The dermal needling pen used in our treatments do not leave scratches and produce less irritation and redness, it is easier to handle for smaller areas like eyes and lip contours.
Unlike derma roller, it is possible to adapt the needle length to each treatment zone and as the pen is vertical the micro wounds are rounder leading to better absorption of growth factors into your skin.
At the London Skin Clinic, we use the latest skin needling technology, our needling pens have an adaptable needle length from 0.1 up to 2.5mm. Numbing cream is applied prior to treatment and using very small needles there is no pain.
Skin needling helps the absorption of sterilised formulations containing peptides, growth factors, hyaluronic acid, organic silicon, natural extracts, vitamins and amino acids. These growth factors then activate multipotent stem cells already in the skin (tricking them into “thinking” there’s been an injury resulting new, younger skin tissue to be generated)
For the next 2-5 days following treatment
- Make up should not be worn for 12-24 hours post skin needling
- Do not use products containing AHA’s, BHA’s, Vitamin A (Retinol), astringents or exfoliating granules
- Apply hydrators as required (skin is best to remain moist during this time)
- Do not exfoliate or pick at peeling skin
- Do not expose the skin to sun
- MUST apply a sunscreen daily SPF30+
- Avoid vigorous exercise, saunas, chlorinated and salt water pools, steam baths and hot showers for 48 hours following your treatment
- Avoid waxing, IPL, Laser or depilatory creams for 2 weeks following your treatment
- Avoid applying tanning products for 2 weeks following your treatment

Exosome Therapy
Exosome therapy is an advanced regenerative approach used in aesthetic medicine. It involves the use of microscopic bioactive vesicles—known as exosomes—that are naturally released by stem cells and play an important role in cellular communication.
These vesicles contain proteins, peptides, amino acids, coenzymes, lipids, and messenger molecules that support optimal cell signalling and tissue integrity. In clinical settings, exosomes are applied topically—often after procedures such as microneedling or microchanneling—to complement skin treatments and promote overall skin health.
Because exosomes interact with the body’s own cellular processes, they may assist in maintaining a balanced skin environment and supporting recovery following minimally invasive aesthetic procedures.
At The London Skin Clinic, exosome therapy may be included as part of a personalised treatment plan, following consultation with a qualified practitioner to determine suitability.
Potential Applications of Exosome Therapy
Exosome therapy may be considered as part of a supportive skincare plan for individuals wishing to:
• Maintain or support skin health and resilience
• Complement other aesthetic or rejuvenation treatments
• Support recovery following procedures involving microchannels in the skin
• Address general concerns related to skin vitality, hydration, or appearance

Exosome Therapy
Exosome therapy is an advanced aesthetic treatment that uses bioactive vesicles—known as exosomes—that are naturally released by stem cells. These microscopic messengers carry proteins, peptides, lipids, and other signalling molecules that play a role in normal cellular communication.
At The London Skin Clinic, exosome-rich formulations may be applied immediately after treatments such as microneedling, microchanneling, or laser procedures. These treatments create microchannels in the skin, which allow for improved absorption of topical serums. Exosome therapy can be used to complement these procedures as part of a broader approach to supporting skin health.
How Exosome Therapy Works
When applied to the skin, exosome preparations interact with local cells, assisting in communication processes that support the skin’s natural renewal functions. This approach may help the skin appear refreshed, hydrated, and more balanced in tone.
Each session is performed in a clinical environment by trained practitioners using TGA-compliant products.
What Exactly Are Exosomes?
Exosomes are nano-sized extracellular vesicles that occur naturally in the body. They contain proteins, amino acids, and other bioactive molecules that participate in cell-to-cell communication. In cosmetic applications, purified exosomes are used topically to support overall skin vitality.
Is Exosome Therapy Safe?
Yes. The exosome formulations used at The London Skin Clinic are ethically sourced, purified, and non-cellular. They are applied topically and are generally well tolerated by most skin types. All products comply with Australian safety and quality standards under TGA guidance.
Potential Applications
Exosome therapy may be discussed during consultation for clients seeking to:
• Support skin recovery following procedures such as microneedling or laser
• Complement other non-surgical skin treatments
• Promote overall skin balance, hydration, and vitality
• Address general concerns such as uneven tone or dull appearance
Treatment Details
Each session typically lasts around 60 minutes. A course of treatments may be recommended depending on individual skin goals and practitioner assessment.
