Whole Body Photobiomudulation Therapy
Photobiomodulation (PBM) therapy is a non-invasive light-based treatment that uses specific wavelengths of red and near-infrared light. The technology is designed to support the body’s natural processes and may assist with general relaxation and wellbeing.
At The London Skin Clinic, we use the Luminaire Whole-Body Pod, which delivers a controlled dose of light to the skin in a comfortable environment. Many people choose PBM therapy as part of their overall wellness routine or alongside other non-invasive treatments.
Individual responses vary, and suitability is discussed during consultation with your practitioner.
Whole-Body LED Therapy (Photobiomodulation)
Whole-body LED therapy, also referred to as Photobiomodulation (PBM), is a non-invasive light-based procedure that uses low-level red and near-infrared light. The light is delivered through LED devices that emit specific wavelengths designed to gently interact with the skin’s surface.
This technology is intended to support the body’s natural processes and encourage overall wellbeing. Many clients choose PBM therapy as part of their general wellness or relaxation routine.
Individual experiences vary, and treatment suitability will be discussed during your consultation with a qualified practitioner.
During a 20-minute session in the Luminaire Whole-Body Pod, clients are exposed to specific wavelengths of red (633nm, 660nm) and near-infrared light (850nm, 940nm) while wearing protective goggles.
These wavelengths are designed to gently interact with the skin’s surface and may support the body’s natural processes at a cellular level. The light energy used in this non-invasive procedure is absorbed by the body and is believed to encourage overall skin vitality and wellbeing.
Many people include this treatment as part of their broader self-care or wellness routine.
Your practitioner will discuss suitability and what to expect during your consultation.
